Reflection
The projects in Architecture History and Theory provided me a deep understanding of how architecture has been and is continuously deeply influenced by traditions, cultures trends and events in different eras in history.
It has also brought me a profound appreciation of historical architecture, it’s cultural value and the significance of preserving these structures for many years to come.
The lectures on each era were super insightful and the interactive nature of the lessons provided clarity and was engaging at the same time. The accompanying slides provided on MYtimes were detailed and clear for easy revision.

The historical richness creates a very vibrant architectural fabric. However, many historical buildings may face the risk of being demolished to make way for more contemporary buildings.
Thus, by recording, documenting and analysing the buildings, we can contribute to preserve the historical evidence of the valuable historical Architecture.
